NO JOB TOO SMALL
30+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
BUILDING OVER, BUILDING NEAR AND NEW CONNECTIONS TO PUBLIC DRAINS AND SEWERS
The local water company is responsible for maintaining thousands of miles of public sewers to ensure the safe removal of wastewater from residential and commercial properties. These sewers often run within property boundaries and, in some cases, beneath existing or proposed buildings. Any nearby construction work has the potential to affect these assets, so it is essential that the water company ensures no damage is caused and that access for maintenance is preserved.
Where an application is required to build over, build near, or connect to a public sewer, I provide a full service. This includes preparing all required plans and documentation and submitting the application on your behalf, ensuring compliance with water authority requirements and avoiding unnecessary delays to your project.

DROPPED KERBS
It is an offence to drive across a footpath or verge to access your property without formal consent. A successful dropped kerb (vehicle crossover) application grants legal permission to cross the pavement and/or verge with a vehicle from the road to your drive.

Approval for a dropped kerb must be obtained from Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) as the highway authority. In some cases, planning permission from your District Council is also required before applying to LCC.
I will obtain quotations from LCC-approved highway contractors, prepare the required plans, and manage all necessary applications on your behalf, ensuring a compliant and stress-free process.
